$25 Fuel Pressure Gauge

Just wanted to post up a little info for all those that are reluctant to spend a few dollars on gauges. I don't really want to get into a debate on what to use or how to install them I just want to stress the importance of having them.
I purchased a 2003 truck that has 70k kms (45000 miles) on the clock last month and have slowly started collecting the stuff to bomb it out. Being in this game for quite a few years and building a couple other trucks so far I have a good feel for what things are important so....
Last week I got a call from Harry at Peak saying the stuff I ordered was in but I decided I would first install my gauges and get some baseline #s prior to adding the after market stuff. BTW the truck run perfectly with no issues.
FP on a perfectly good running truck was 5psi at idle and 0 instantly at WOT!
Fortunately one of the goodies I picked up from Harry was a FASS 150 system oh and these Performax gauges are sic
Guys even if your truck is stock get some gauges, they can save you some money in the long run.

how in the hell does this relate to hooking up a fuel pressure guage

ok back to the subject since i was rudly INTERUPTED by sominthing with no meaning, whould it be safe to hook up the isolater and do the DOT brake line, or scrap the isolator

I think YOU are the one thats being rude here. This isnt the only thread on the site where people chime in to offer some "related" advice.

Maybe if you pay attention, Ratsun will teach you a thing or two - he knows more about diesel performance than most of us combined.

sorry if you guys got affended by what i said, i wasnt trying to **** anyone off ,trying to be a "smartass" by making a joke since i was having a hard time with this

good catch ratsun, you saved a bunch of dough and a big headache finding that your fuel pressure was low. that would have been real bad with those mods.

so my best bet would be to just get some DOT 1/8" line for this correct?
