i need info on adjusting the throttle cable on my 01 dodge cummins auto trans, any help would be appreciated.thanks in advance.

have someone sit in the truck and hold the throttle wide open with the engine off. There throttle valve leaver on the trans should only be able to be pulled back 1/8" more with throttle wide open.

According to Dave Goerend he told me the lever should be all the way back at WOT.

Seems like everyone has a different answer. I was told by Suncoast to leave 1/8" play.
