EVERYONE. again, thanks for the help. its always amazing that I cant always contribute all the time but have questions, and I appreciate that the help is always here regardless of my limited knowledge. hopefully the more i learn the more I can help others as well. THANK YOU.

UPDATE: Lift pump is dead, reading no pressure what so ever. still finding out how the VP is doing after that and if its still alive what the deal is.

If it only just happened you'll be alright if on the other hand this is the result of a long process you will need to get that replaced. Replacing the pump isn't hard but I would recommend you get a better lift pump, and some gauges on there ASAP to protect this investment you are about to make.

I've been exactly where you are. It happened to me the first time at 56,000 km - dead lift pump. Than that 90,000 km dead lift pump and dead VP44. All warranty work but still problematic.

I got the new VP and then install a FASS 150.150 and that was 4 years ago now with no issues at all. Pressure on gauge is always above 13 even at wide open throttle and all is well in my drive way.

well.... come to find out the VP is alive and well. thank goodness it didnt go with the LP. It was also showing some problems because of my Granatelli Chip. I know they mostly do things for Ford (cars, trucks, diesel) but I bought mine for the 99' cummins. I am about to call them and see whats up with that. I guess it was messing up some readings or codes on the map sensor. I wish I knew how because I would like to get that installed the right way and also because it has a monitor with all the gauges I need... ANYWAYS, "dodged" a bullet there and now the FASS goes in....
