will the tranny from my dodge 2005 single wheel diesel swap into my 1998 3500 dually diesel dump ?? i am going to purchase oner of the built ats tranny's and torque converter for my 05 and would like to put th e05 into the 98 if at all possible ??

 

if the 05 has a 47RE and they are both 4x4 or 2x4

 

Ok , thanks . Are the ats tranny's all that ?? The sound pretty tough . I tow a 10k skiddsteer And a 12k excavator with the 05 daily ....the dump doesnt get the daily use ,& the tranny shifts all over the place , its a mess

 

Im not a fan of them.
