2005 3500 auto into 98 3500 auto trans swap
 

will the tranny from my dodge 2005 single wheel diesel swap into my 1998 3500 dually diesel dump ?? i am going to purchase oner of the built ats tranny's and torque converter for my 05 and would like to put th e05 into the 98 if at all possible ??:humm:

if the 05 has a 47RE and they are both 4x4 or 2x4

Ok , thanks . Are the ats tranny's all that ?? The sound pretty tough . I tow a 10k skiddsteer And a 12k excavator with the 05 daily ....the dump doesnt get the daily use ,& the tranny shifts all over the place , its a mess

Im not a fan of them.
