Air Dog Install With Pics
#21
Good job and pics, after looking at the pics I am wondering if it makes a differance it you plug up the old line on the tank or leave it open.
I noticed that your return pipe is pointing twards the fuel cap, if you took the fuel cap off when the pump is running would you get a bath?
I'm going get one when tax checks come in but don't have a lift.

Yes, plug the open line with a cap and hose clamp to keep debris out and fuel in.
That is how it is supposed to mount. There is no enough pressure for it to blow fuel out of the filler neck. I always leave mine running when I fill up and there are no issues.
Get one...you'll be happy with it.

Whats the benefit? All its doing is returning fuel to the tank at a fixed rate. If you turn it the other way, like you have, you now have a bent hose that will eventually kink. The reason it is mounted the way it is was to prevent the hose from closing off.

there would have to be alot of return fuel flowing back to fill up that half inch hose and actually make enough pressure to shoot out at you.
Nice install pics, im thinkin of doing a write up on on the Dmax airdog install also
