Well I like the power outta my 6.0 but I hate all the ipr and icp and hpop oring leaks etc. I am over 500 hp easy on a dyno and tow tune right around 430 hp. Pulling 21k combined up over a mountain at 65mph 1000 on the egt and looking at 17.8 mpg is awsome. Having the ipr crap out at the top and leaving you sit is for the birds! Mine will get a swap when I make it back to pa! What is the best motor and trans and transfer case to go with in the 05?

Origbuilder.... I bought a '94 2500 2wd standard cab that had a running 12 valve and beat body. parted out the body and running gear after pulling the motor (net cost to me $400 and I still have parts to sell). Then I found a used ZF-6 manual trans out of an '07 in a junk yard. got it completely shipped to my door for $1500..... I mixed and matched the rest of the parts and ended up with the best of all worlds. Motor mounts from GOS Performance moved the motor just a little to the driver's side so the exhust manifold would clear the AC/Heater box with out needing a "Custom" exhust manifold. Also got the tach kit and new degas bottle from GOS. Did not need to relocate the passenger battery as most companies tell you to. Custom made Air intake used the filter off the 6.0. Got the Motor/Trans adaptor from DeStroked. I dont know where you are in PA, but My mechanic is off I-83 at the MD/PA line......
