Default 6.7 to 5.9 swap?
anyone know anything about doing this yet? simply replace the short block from a 5.9 to a 6.7? no replacement for displacement right?

Sound like with the money you would invest in this you could just beef up your 5.9 ALOT

ah ha. hmmmmm im not sure how hard it would be to switch em....... probably would still be better off just fixing the one you have already

I remember reading about a guy putting all the 5.9 stuff(ecm,injectors,turbo,etc) on a 6.7 when it first came out. I know it worked out good but I don't know all the details in what was involved.

If I could easily get another 0.8L of displacement I would do it. I would also classify it as a significant UPGRADE.
