has anyone ever done this convertion on would it be easyer to put a cummins 12v in?

Well I guess that depends if you're better at fabbing up mounts, crossmembers and such, or if you're better at wireing and computers

if i got either or the powerstroke would be a wreck out of my local junk yard and so will the cummins....my uncle is really good at mounts and wireing.....i know theres a convertion for the cummins motor but i didnt know if there was one for the powerstroke anywheres

it would probably be easier to go with the cummins, alot less wiring issues.

I would guess that you could get the motor mounts and just bolt them in, if this is for your 93. If that's the case, you'd be best off getting the entire truck so you have everything. You might get a better deal that way too.

yea thats what i was thinking cuz id really like to put a powerstroke in my 93 if i can make enoght money....

The frames would be the same so I honestly don't see why you couldn't just bolt it in. The computers would be the hard part. At least you wouldn't have to worry about switching dashes or gauges and things like that.

yea ill try and see what i can come up with but i think im goin with the stroke..there just so bad *** sounding

You can't swap an old engine into a newer body, its illegal.

Where do you come up with this stuff ? Besides he was talkin about swapping a newer engine into an older truck
