After wasting 2 hours trying to get it started and rewiring crap I didn't need (got the fordcummins stuff mixed up with the Dodge harness) I figured out it was just a fueling issue and had to crack the lines at the injectors. But man it was a great feeling.

Need some parts and metal: Install Dodge Ram fuel tank Metal for the front crossmember Reverse shackle (2) 16'' cooling fans New carrier bearing New u-joints and yoke on rear driveshaft (swapping to fixed yoke from orig. slip yoke) Get rear driveshaft shortened Re-gear and weld tubes on 10.25'' Install traction bar on rear end New steering box South Bend hydraulics Get lines made to go from Dodge power steering pump to Ford steering box Adapt Ford brake lines to Dodge hydroboost Wire up the brake, reverse, and turn lights Install 4'' exhaust Build a front track bar Get it aligned Rig up a transfer case shifter Brace the front ''fascia'' to the radiator support That's what it needs to ''move''. Then I still need to finish the interior: New carpet New door seals New rear passenger door Touch up the big dents and repaint doors and roof I missed New windows and window seals Tint the windows Seat covers Steering wheel New plastic "pillar" trim Windshield wipers and arms and get that wired up to work Get a new passenger 92-97 mirror Make a new gooseneck plate Then eventually get a real paint job if I feel like it, but it is just a tow rig/part-time DD, so that might never happen and I'll just touch up the 70 dollar Rustoleum paint job I did last summer to it. Then if I score a set of Switzer twins my might get for me, I'll be doing an o-ring, head studs, and an Adrenaline w/pulse, and injectors if I need them :choochoo: Here's the video on youtube now |
