I'm not that familiar with that style of exhaust brake have you read good reviews on it?

Its comin together real nice are you planning a custom flatbed?

Looks like your keepin some late nites working and its slowly comin together and thanks for keeping us all up to date on a real fine project.:jump::jump::jump::jump:

It's an older setup, only read reviews on their website, and a friend told me his sucked on his 6.5. But it works awesome behind my Cummins. This one is off an older IH 7.8L truck, but the brake was really for a 7.3 V8, I got less than $200 into it to get it rebuilt and made the wastegate arm myself.

And yes a flatbed, low deck bed is in the works probably beginning of the year.

And I want to hear that exhaust brake at work too :rocking:

Crappy video of it, the blow off sound at the end, I cant explain, don't normally hear it during release of the brake.

Cant wait to see the finished product. :tu:

You and me both! It's close, I need to get a new hydroboost and power steering pump, wire up the lights and windshield washers, and its pretty much street legal.

Bent up this piece to hold all the wiring under the dash in one spot and keep it out of the way of the clutch pedal. SO nice to be able to jump in the truck again and not worry about snagging wires. Just need to get some foam to insulate the wiring and its good to go.
