Jahulgan,

thanks for the cad file.

what bellhousing / transmission are you using? I just drew my bell housing for my borg warner T-5 in cad.

I'm in the design / machine process for my build. om617 into '86 CJ-7. I need to start a build thread.

I'll share when I get home.

By the way, I think posting these files is AWESOME and is true to the spirit of this forum. Thank you.
I can't seem to download them either - I keep getting a "page not found" error...

Did you maybe move the files after posting the link jahulgan?

My bellhousing was originally attached to at T-150 3speed it was a direct bolt on to a T-18 which is what i am running now, but the engine side of the bellhousing should be the same I am pretty sure unless you had a 4cylinder. if you could email it to me I can check to see if it matches. Thanks PM'd ya

ANYTHING and EVERYTHING Microsoft is goofy - but that doesn't stop Bill's little local company from dominating the computer world!

The download links are working fine now - thanks again.

I am using the benz flywheel cover and then fabbing an adapter plate to mate to 700r4. I think Benzer1 did the same, but to a different trans. So far it looks like I will be milling down the benz cover some for proper t-conv/flex plate clearance. More than one way to skin a cat !

thanks. I got it. I emailed you my file. The center point is the center of the drive shaft. I just need to overlay mine sketch with your block sketch and line up the center points. Apparently I cant send PMs yet because I dont have 10 posts? I'll post the drawing when I get home. Hopefully your link works now?

Is there a way to get back in and edit it or will I have to create a new post for them?
This is one of those forums that only gives you an hour or so to edit a post after you make it. HOWEVER, the Moderators/Admins can edit anything anytime anywhere. I'd contact them and see if they can enable you to edit that post, or if they will edit it for you.

I'd just have them remove the links and replace them with something like
"Links Removed - UPDATED VERSION AVAILABLE - See next page."

or

Have them actually update the links in that post and then post them again here with the disclaimer to delete any downloads before a certain date/time.

or

Easiest of all, save the new files with the same name to the same location as in the previous links, and then create a new post with copies of the links and a disclaimer about deleting versions downloaded before a certain date/time...

I would like to apologize for these multiple postings but not being able to go back and edit them really sucks. I hope this is right now if not just PM or Email me and I will send them that way.

I noticed when I downloaded them it adds an underscore at the front and back like this "_file.ext_" you will need to delete the underscores when you save the file or rename after you have saved it. Again MicrosoftLive just goofy.

WOW... I can't belive this tread is still alive.I have been away for a while and just reading thru these posts, some of you guys have crazy ideas with all different trans. and adapters,i love it.
Just the update from my build i drive jeep almost on daily basis without any troubles so far.no vibrations or any problems whatsoever and now that we got hammered with snow 4x4 works great too.Last time i put it in 4wd was month ago and it stayed that way so far and probably will till snow is over with.I take it on freeway on and off road and it runs great so far.I average 20-21 mpg during winter but jeep idles a lot between stops and the wind on daily basis doesnt help the matter. So far i have little over 10000 miles since conversion and i am happy with it. good luck on your projects.

Vlado
