Sport trac 2.8l cummins
I started roughing in the electrical. I'm going to keep as much of it intact as possible. I like the idea of using to obd to pull things like intake temp and Ect. I Got lucky the orig. harness fits in between the intake on water manifolds. I still need a tap to retap for the ford water temp sensors and I need to make a bracket for the tps.
Your belt system looks better, i'm a little concerned that the spring loaded tensioner may cause you some headaches. I tried one on my IDI truck, the stroke of the engine beat it to death. I eventually went to a fixed tensioner. Hopefully that engine won't cause the same issues.
All the GM 6.2 and 6.5 motors had that kind of tensioner. I have never had any problems with the tensioner on my 6.5, and I have never heard of anybody else with any problems. Of course the 6.2/6.5 is a V8 and the Kubota is an I-4 so the harmonics could be different.

Very productive day. I bought a 4406 transfercase from a 01 f150 a front drive shaft from 97 f150 the slip yolk from a expedition and a driveshaft from a mustang. Or at least I think a mustang. I pulled one from a 02 mustang the found 1 already pulled at the register in better shape and an inch longer. Everything is in and fits. No custom driveshafts, yeah! I have to pickup 2 new conversion ujoints tomorrow and the best thing is the transfercase shift motor from my sport trac tcase fits the f150 tcase just like factory so I won't have to cut the harness. Here's a pic comparing the t cases
Made a bit of progress today. I cleaned repainted and put new unjoint a in the drive shafts. I orderd 2 1330 conversion joints 1 for the front diff and 1 for the rear slip yolk to drive shaft. The rear slip yolk was a double cardone from a expedition that I cut the tie down ears off of.

Starting on the turbo adaptor
Well I had a bit of a set back. I spent the better part of a day working on my turbo adaptor. I got it all finished, started on the oil lines and went to reclock it and it won't ! I didn't think about the control rod going threw the cartridge to the exhaust housing. So you can't reclock to get the oil feed and drain in the correct positions. I found a gt2256v from a sprinter on cl so I bought it and am working on my adaptor for it.
