It's controlled by boost with the boost can on the turbo. I may need to make a boost controller to fine tune it but should be at 26.5lbs of boost as it sits

Sorry, couldn't help myself.... you mean vane? That's how I originally wound up on this site, looking for controllers for an HE351V.

Looks good as always Rangmar.

Huh, I've not seen a VV turbo that didn't require some type of electronic controller. That could be a great way to get significantly more power!

There are actually several out there that are vgt or vnt controlled by a boost can. The computer does control them but no differently than how the computer controls the wastgate on a wastegated turbo. The boost line would go to a small control valve just at it would on any other turbo car and the computer controls boost at low rpm but the spring in the boost can is designed for a set max so running the line directly to the can would net 26.5lbs max on this turbo but maybe not i guess I'll find out

It doesn't appear to me that the belt makes enough contact with the crank pulley, it'll slip.

I also wonder about the power steering pulley. Perhaps an idler between and above the PS and crank pulleys to create more wrap?

i

Taurus setup is kinda similar to yours? I'd want close to 1/2 pulley wrap on everything.
