Oil pan work today. Going to heavily modify Koch's oil pan for better clearance in the xj.

Heat issue has worsened. We've come to the conclusion that it's either a cracked head or head gasket. Engine #2 should solve this mystery.

I hope you guys don't mind all the questions haha I'm fixin to start my engine transplant this week hopefully I don't run into any problems.. would you have any suggestions on getting a tps to work

You are just going to have to come up with your own version of how to mount the tps and linkage to operate it. Some have used the part of the throttle body that the tps was mounted on and incorporated it in the diesel throttle linkage. If you can manage to get the engine installed, mounts and brackets made etc, you should be able to figure out the tps.

Found or rather bought a rarer than hen's teeth 78' non-EGR exhaust manifold. The runners are bigger and the Hx30 mounts to it without modification to the manifold.

Good comparison on how much bigger the 78' runners are.
