24V Hard Start But Runs Perfect - Please Help
#31
It looked fine - nice and smooth.
Actually, I broke down and had to take it into a good local shop this morning. I can't afford to have it down any longer and I certainly couldn't find anything wrong.
The good news, so far, is that they say it's not the IP. The bad news is that they're saying it's an electrical issue drawing much more current than normal from the CKP circuit. According to the lady in the office (hearing it from the mech) the draw is taking current from the CKP circuit and affecting the reading to the ECM. Their tech is aware that the AC and CKP are on the same circuit so they're thinking they need about another hour or so to find it. When I was under there, I couldn't find any nicks, cuts, ect. in the harness so I sure hope they can find it.
Mike.
