Honestly, It should at least move with 15 Quarts. Unless you have a deep or a double deep pan that might change things.

Are you sure your dipstick is too short? Or is the fluid level just not showing on it yet?


The fact that your RPMS dropped by adding more fluid makes me think it still might be a little low. Here's to hoping anyways.


Give me a call tomorrow with what you find out.

yes im pretty sure my dipstick is too short my friend has a 96 and his is like 6" longer. i dont have a deep pan. im really hoping its the fluid, ima throw a couple more qts in tmrw and see how that goes

i noticed when the motor is cold and i put it in gear the rpms drop down but after like a min. the rpms dont really do anything
