Who did the rebuild on the trans? No gears at all only has a few things in common. Torque Converter, which would have to have a really messed up stator to provide nothing at all,
The pump which would have to be pumping little to no fluid or something in the valve body that isn't allowing fluid to circulate.

Are you sure when you installed the Torque Converter it was fully seated in the pump?

yes the t.c wasnt leaking at all and it was full when i took it out, i did the rebuild besides the overdrive

it has to be one of those things you said because after about a min the rpms wouldnt change between drive and park

Yeah I would say lack of oil is not our problem. You will probably have to put the trans back in and do some pressure tests to get an idea of what is going on.

i just want to make sure nothing is internal first. maybe i didnt have the torque converter fully seated

Got an email? I'll send you a link to a manual that describes the testing procedure and has some good schematics and diagrams. It is for a 2001 but I don' think the 47res have changed that much.

Thank you sir . i dont think there is anything wrong with the pump since it fills up the torque converter

It may be filling it up but it might not be putting out the pressure required. IT may be something in the valve body as well. Did you go back with stock? Stock w/ shift kit or an aftermarket VB?
