Good day all,
I have had the glow plugs and all associated defective parts replaced at a garage that I trust. It was starting right up, then today it would not do anything. I noticed in the past that if I slam the clutch in it would start easier, so I replaced the starter safety switch at the clutch peddle. After turning the key 3 or 4 times I finally got an attempted turnover , but it would not start. I tried using a screwdriver on the starter , it sparked good the 1st time then barely the next couple. What do you think; starter, starter relay, something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I had to miss work today because of this and don't want to replace everything if it's not necessary.

If you can't jump the solenoid and make the starter turn the engine over, I'd guess the starter is shot.
Assuming you're gettin good contact on the starter with that screwdriver that is..

start at the batteries making sure they are clean and up to par and that the grounds are good. But it does sound like it could be the starter if jumping it with a screwdriver didnt work.
