Default gauge help

ide like to put guages in my 97 powerstroke. i will definately put in EGT and boost gauges nut is there a connection on my bone stock 5-speed transmission for a temp gauge? ive heard some trucks already have the connection and some dont...any ideas?

I don't think you're going to need a trans temp gauge... Do you have tuning?

Really? I just figured get one to be on the safe side. And yeah a ts 6 position chip.

Nah. You REALLY don't need one. You'd be better off saving that money or getting a fuel pressure gauge.

ok. how and where do i install a fuel pressure gauge? like where are the connections? or whatever?

on the side of the fuel pressure regulator there is a schrader valve that i removed to install my fuel pressure guage. in the picture below that valve that the red arrow is pointing to is the schrader valve. remove that and install the pressure sender. be careful not to over tighten it and crack the regulator like i did. Let me know if you need any other help.
