I have a 6.0 Powerstroke diesel that will not start they has an EGR delete kit no muffler and no cat I replace fuel filter started the truck and ran for about 5 minutes then started missing and shut off. I am new to owning a diesel but mechanically inclined. I took the filter cap off, turned the key on and I am getting fuel. However the oil gauge never comes up when cranking over.

 

Check for proper FCIM voltages and HPOP pressures. FCIM should be around 48 volts. HPOP over 500 i believe.
