03 sd 6.0 wont start

well pcm is in and a couple of squirts of starting fluid she fired right up and purred like a kitten. for fifteen minutes then inexplicably died now it wont start again

Was the PCM programmed with the correct VIN? Usually a computer replacement requires a trip to the dealer on a flatbed for reprogramming.

the pcm i got came from a junkyard and it came out of a 6.no they ran the truck before pulling it. In short no i didnt have it reprogrammed. would that make a difference

Yes possibly, but I dunno if it woulda started.

Or, it would still start, but it would run like crap.

Not as 6.0 savy as I could be, but I'd get the VIN, pull the PCM and take it to a dealer, a tuner, etc...
