my buddy wrapped his block heater cord around the shaft and now 3 months later its pouring..

its on his 84 6.2l blazer.

i need to get the large endcap off. i have the splitring off. and everthing else to this point.
detailed instructions would be nice if they are out there.
so far i havnt found any. anytips. kinda stuck at this point.

ok i just now got it off. but the digram says nothing about hte many ball bearings in it. likily i noticed them before i got it off.
but now the trick of how to put them back in.
