Ok, i dont know what to do. Not long ago my a/c stopped working correctly. At highway speeds its fine, when idling or accelerating its as hot as outside. I cleaned the radiator really good. Took it to a shop and they said the a/c is charged fine.

pulled the codes and got:

0234: overboost
0480: Cooling fan 1 control circuit malfunction
0483: Cooling Fan Rationality Check Malfunction



Oh, and the fan clutch is new, my old one ate its own wires so i recently replaced it

Nothing? Now my dual climate a/c blows cool on the drivers side but much warmer on the passenger side, even though they are both all the way to cold. I gotta figure something out, no a/c sucks

 

hey wyo, had the same problem on my 05, wyatt arp looked at it 8 times and said nothing was wrong. After some searching i figured out my compressor was bad. Its a messed up deal but for some reason the ac system cuts out the pass. side, I dunno why. My buddy's truck is doing it now and we are going to put a compressor on it and see what happens I'll let you know.

By the way, been busy hauling hay lately, since the rain we aint dont chit

Yeah, wyatt arp is awesome except for the service department. They are a bunch of crooks. Part guys there are the best, chris and clint.

Oh, just saw yours is a laramie too. Guess you do have the dual zone. Is your buddies a laramie too? Is it just cuttin out on the passenger side?

 

I will say i thank you have a door that is broke that is in the a duct.The 03-04 I know has a bad door they brake easy.There is a TBS out on this.

 

Really? I wonder if its been replaced on my truck. Is it a tsb where they fix it for free?

 

Turns out it was a broken wire up in the wire harness. Cost me $160 to get someone to figure it out but now the a/c will freeze you out again. Thanks guys!
