96 12v Cummins nv4500 swap problem need help
Hello everyone. I just got done installing and replacing my stock shitty 47re with the nv4500. after wiring everything up and getting everything to work and taking for test drive I have found that the speedometer does not work. Further research as led me to finding there is no speedo connector on my new transfer case but there is one on my rear diff. So the question is how do I connect these to make these work Because I know someone on here has done it before and would just life some information please.

post 96 they used a VSS on the diff, with a one piece case on the back half of the T-case. the 2wd trucks always had the speedo on the tailhousing of the transmission. This was the same year that the transmission itself was updated (different top cover with a bolted shift tower rather than spring loaded) and that the engine power was bumped to 180 in the autos and 215 in the manuals as I recall.
Re; topic:
So, so you HAVE the speedo installed in your T case and it isn't working, or there is no hole in the output housing for your speedo to go into?
those are two very different, potential problems.
