ill save that till summer thats alot of antifreeze to be buying at 12.99 a gallon concerntrate

Sounds like you might have a good air pocket stick in the block or head. also, antifreeze is a shitty coolant, water is better. the reason to use antifreeze is just to lower the freeze point of the water. Still, if it cools at all, sounds like a combination of a bad thermostat and a air-locked block.

well i wouldnt doubt it being an air pocket, i had the head off after rebuild, i bought another t-stat from cummins and im going to try that. it actually poped at 190 this morning but that was the only time today
