Default Truck Running Way To Hot

ok i got the dodge running again but she is running hot, the thermostat dont pop till the last mark on the guage which i dont like. then i only drops a hair below 190 which i dont like either. i noticed it isnt blowing hot air threw the heater eather. i raplaced the radiator cap and all i have now is hot air. should i replace the thermostat as well?

do a total flush .....you will be suprised what the glycol looks like, yes then do a new thermostate too

flush it its full concentrate i just added after rebuild, there is only 85 miles on that engine with all new fluids

Are you runnin a 50/50 water/anitfreeze mix or straight anitfreeze?

mine runs at just under 200 usually, but it's a CR maybe they run hotter

well its like 3 gallons of atifreeze with 1 gallon of water

you would think the more anifreeze the cooler it would run because it is more coolant

not true, water is a better coolant alone generally, correct me if i'm wrong but in order to use the antifreeze as a coolant you need water as a catalyst to make the antifreeze do its job
