Default replacing air dryer/filter ?

My AC compressor on the 99 RAM died. I got a new compressor and dryer/filter.

Changed the compressor.

I am trying to take off the old dryer, but I can not seperate it from the connecting pipes! I have taken off the security clamps, but do not want to damage it by horsing it out!!

Is there anyone who can tell me how it is done?

Thanks much

MRowsh

I got it taken care of. No easy way out. After 11 years, did not want to get seperated!
Had to cut it off with cut off wheels. Took few times longer than changing the compressor!!
I guess no one else had done this on this site.
