trans help
i need a second opinion on a trans problem.had some work done on my 2001.5 46re[new bands and shift sylonoid sensor]anyway, the shop claims its not anything they did and they wont have the time to look at it anytime soon but the guy says it is probably metal shavings in the shift sylonoid to clean it and it should fix the problem,by the way its a problem with not shifting right and yes it has a brand new apps as well.any help is appreciated and welcome as i am at my witts end.

how exatcly is it shifting you may just need a resistor or zenor diod to keep th voltage right going to the shift solinoid i could see it being a vavle body problem but the 46re is electronically controlled not hydro like the rhs are and by the way if they put new bands in your trans the had to take the vb off in wich case if it was a good shop they would have cleanded an flushed the trans and all parts

i parked a car on the street in front of the shop with a nice little sign just to let others know what happened. it sat there for three days before they gave me my money back to move it, whatever works right.
