Default 2004.5 Dodge cummins dead

Guy's I had a no good so called mechanic rebuild my engine that trashed at 100,000 miles.
We replaced bearings and piston , rings
The truck has never run since; it has been to 2 mechanics now this last one tells me the engine's compresson is to low for the engine to start

Any suggestions or comments welcomed

Just send it to Scheid and do it right So I guess there was no warranty on the rebuild? I would try and get it out of him one way or another

The only resolution would be to bore the block out and install new pistons , thats the next step

Or bore it out and sleeve it back to std size. All you would have to do then is buy new rings.

I was under the understanding the only option was to bore ; that liner sleeves couldn't be used on the newer 24's

I thought you could. I mean you can bore and sleeve any of the other engine blocks out there.
