Default 6.9 Driveline

Relatively new to Diesels. Long story short my step-father gave me his old 85 6.9 3/4 ton 4wd

I was driving home and this happened, I need help. I need parts, prices, time etc.
Any links and input helps

Thanks fellow Diesel brethren

The U joint is a simple and should be an affordable fix. Put one in that has grease zerks and keep it greased.

The broken yoke is an probably not overly expensive, but that nut is used to tighten down the bearings in the pinion and should be done by someone who knows what they are doing. There are crush caps in there that might need to be replaced to do it correctly.

For fun, how did it happen....

I appreciate the speedy reply Opti-Lube. Lets just say that when you try to power brake a 6.9 this is what may happen.

Ya priced out the Yoke and U joint totaled 80$ Now just got to take it to my local diesel shop
