Agent told me that the initial throttle tip in, it is ok for a small amount of smoke. But a truck that is bellowing black smoke will be in trouble. They know that it takes time for the turbo to spool up.

Thank god my tunes are 99% smoke free. I don't have to worry about it.

My PPE is pretty Low Smoke.. even on the big tunes... Heavy smoke at first launch, then cleans up REAL FAST when the turbo lites .. either way, Im sure they will still find a reason to get my autograph..

I am waiting for more information before I do anything.

Mine is pretty clean, But I would like to know exactly how many seconds that they are allowing, or if they are going to carry a meter to do a snap throttle test when they pull you over.

Like I said, I am waiting for more information before I do anything.

New York was to start doing a snap throttle test diesel for the state inspection, but that has not happened yet.
