GM Tech II will not disable the TPMS. The TECH II can change the pressure it should monitor but cannot be turned off.
Also EFILive can not alter anything with the TPMS.
TPMS is part of the BCM and only a Tech II can alter BCM with authorization from GM head service office.

Now where is this place where it can be turned off? Just never heard it can be done.

I have a theory that you can program the BCM with a 1 ton vin and it will disable the TPMS. Also on some vehicles when you program the BCM there is a selection for 'non TPMS'. However I really don't have the time nor do I care that much when you can set the monitor to any pressure you want with a Tech II.

Correction: reprogram the Remote Control Door Lock Reciever. The BCM has nothing to do with the TPMS.

What did they do then if you know they didn't use a Tech II? Did they actually change what pressures you wanted to run it?

Correct forgot the about the front passenger door lock module that uses that portion to receive the signals from the tire sensors. I assume it is still on the passenger side like in previous gmt-800 platform.

So the 1ton duallys don't have tire pressure sensors? What about 1ton single rear wheel models.
EDIT: I see standard on SRW. Option on higher version packages on Duallies

Mine was reprogrammed to come on below 47 lbs i think with a Tech II.. You can relearn the tire positions from the DIC or at the dealer for a fee I think. I usually run close to same pressure so i havent relearned the positions..I run them at 50-55..
