service 4wd
A few days ago while drdriving SERVICE 4WD popped up on the dash and I looked at the 4wd selector and have no led lit up. I checked the electrical connector underneath the truck by the transfer case all seemed good. And just my luck 6 inches of snow fell last night and I'm sitting here waiting for it to melt. Anyone able to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated

Without a code we cant do much but many have just disconnected the connectors at the transfer case and at the front diff and reconneted them. Seemed to resinc the actuators and clear the issue. I think you have to do it with the ignition on for it to work.
If that doesn't do it then it is usually the actuator in either the transfer case or front diff. Quite easy to replace. If the first one doesn't clear it i would get the codes before replacing parts
