I don't get how this happens how does a pump just fail no signs of it going bad.

The kid I know that has the other pump had the complete engine compartment wireing harness if I bought it would I need to buy anything else

stich with the mech pump. way easier to mess around with and take apart and has less problems, dont go to ds4. go on ebay i bet there is a pump on there for like $300.

Good chance the injection pump is worn out.

Try pouring water over it and attempt a start when the hot no start occurs-if it starts the IP needs attention.

Adequate cranking speed is also needed.
