Hey guys Just curious as to what turbo everybody is having success with? I blew a head gasket at 81000 miles and found out that both heads were cracked when getting the work done. I upgraded the heads and added studs. My friend owns a shop and did the work for me. One of his retards got something in the intake and the turbo sucked it in and destroyed the impeller. I got a new one and the truck seemed fine until I checked the oil the other day and found that it is using a quart every 1000 miles. It never did it before the heads were changed out and the turbo incident. I see a ton of oil staining where the upper intake meets the lower intake manifold. I think the turbo is using the oil at the seals. I want to change it out to be sure and go from there if I need to get the heads reset on the motor I will after I rule out the turbo which is not the same with the new impeller. I wish someone would shoot me not once but twice. Please help.....................

 

When was last time was CDR change out

 

if the turbo was using oil it would be going down the downpipe.
