A team turbo
 

Hey guys Just curious as to what turbo everybody is having success with? I blew a head gasket at 81000 miles and found out that both heads were cracked when getting the work done. I upgraded the heads and added studs. My friend owns a shop and did the work for me. One of his retards got something in the intake and the turbo sucked it in and destroyed the impeller. I got a new one and the truck seemed fine until I checked the oil the other day and found that it is using a quart every 1000 miles. It never did it before the heads were changed out and the turbo incident. I see a ton of oil staining where the upper intake meets the lower intake manifold. I think the turbo is using the oil at the seals. I want to change it out to be sure and go from there if I need to get the heads reset on the motor I will after I rule out the turbo which is not the same with the new impeller. I wish someone would shoot me not once but twice. Please help.....................:scare2::argh:

When was last time was CDR change out

if the turbo was using oil it would be going down the downpipe.
