That basically explains it pretty good

 

I have a 2wd F450 and love it, except the poor milage(8-10) towing 33k, 10-12 not towing. I pull a 50ft. car hauler with it. I dont think my 6.5 would tow it, but I like the 6.5 in my everyday driver. I can pull 4 cars and the 6500lb trailer up hill 70mph and the dodges go around me doin 80mph.

 

haha your f 450 probly has 4.56's. not excellent for mileage

 

actually it has 488's

 

ouch. thats a little over the top i got 4.10's in my f350 and dont think they really need to be that low

 

i think im just gonna sell the truck as is with the blown motor and buy sumthing else. Any one looking for a 6.5 2wd with a bad motor?
