ok i am swapping in an nv3500 in my 84 gmc 1 ton crew 2wd with sm465 bad bearings reason for swap question is the nv3500 the same or close to the same length as the th400 as i can get the drive shaft from a friend for cheap rather then cutting mine up I know the nv3500 is longer then my sm465 or has anyone done this swap ?
