before you say search, i have already. but havent found a problem just like mine. just got my first diesel. 94 3500 crew cab with 6.5 turbo. engine was bad. bought another and replaced three lifters. its in the truck now and starts easily. idles fine. no smoke at idle, but when you rev it passed 2200 rpm it puts out white smoke. the engine sounds good, does not miss, revs good and idles good. no blowby from what i can tell. i did not bleed out anything. another thing is, i still have the front end off the truck(fenders and core support) but cannot hear the turbo at all. could the white smoke be caused by a bad turbo? other causes? it only blows smoke when revved.
