New here, old problem
My '85 6.2l starts right up, runs smooth, but gets choppy once it warms up and the HPCA disengages. I've messed with timing the pump, but that has gotten me nowhere. Youtube to follow...

Some people tell me it's compression, some say a bad IP, some say injectors, and some say timing. I've seen a bunch of people posting the same or similar problems all over the web, but can't find any resolved.

New filter and every piece of rubber has been replaced. It's $125 to test the IP at the local diesel shop. What about fuel pressure? Would too much/not enough pressure do this?

New lift pump too. The IP only has about 2-4k miles on it, although it has been sitting for four years not running.
