My uncle had a button on his 1997 6.5TD wich triggered a raise in rpms at idle...

He spoke of altering the OBD connector in some way. He passed away a while ago and now i would like to alter my dads truck for this switch as he uses a winch alot and when pulling heavy you can hear the alternator loading up. This is why my uncle altered his truck and we would like to alter dads truck in the same manner..

Does anyone have info on this...?

You can also use a connector for pins on a motherboard if you want, thats what i did.
This is electronic motor only btw.
