Smile 6.2 in to 1997 gmc 6.5 toast

i was just wanting to know weather i should keep i electronic or opt for the mechicnal pump and how much boost should i be running any input would help thanks armond

The mechanical pump and the electronic pumps will interchange. They bolt in the same. The injection lines are different. You will need to add a throttle cable. And some electronics work if you have an auto trans. But it would be much easier to keep it electronic. The mechanical pump is much more reliable than the electronic that is for sure. I have built both.

fill out your signature so we know what model your talking about and what tranny. but yes it is easier to keep it electronic but if you have a manual tranny its a lot easier to go the mechanical route

x2. If your talkin a 6.2 pump it's pretty agreed on that the 6.2 pump turned all the way up flows about the same or a little less than a stock 6.5 pump.
