Is there a standard toque for these bolts. I am waiting on a manual for the 1998 GMC Sierra k1500 6.5TD that I picked up.

Sorry about that. On the 4L80, auto transmission 17 bolt pan the bolts are tightened in a criss cross pattern to 18 foot pounds.

When I replaced the auto tranny filter it came with a crappy rubber gasket. I purchased a good metal with silicon gasket, which was $9 on line, &15 dollars delivered here in Saskatchewan instead of paying $45 to the local dealer. Took 6 days and I will use it next fluid change.
