Seems like you always have to replace the injectors the same time as the pump. Old injectors are washed/wore out, and due to the higher volume and pressure of a new/remand pump, fuel dribbles out, instead of being atomized properly. Just like when you install new injectors before an injection pum. The higher pop off pressure it takes to open the injectors, sends the pump south quicker.
