Code 78 - Wastegate Solenoid

Wastegate is working fine. Replaced everything from vacuum pump to the wastegate and all vacuum lines and solenoid. Still flashing that same code.

AC Delco ONLY for electrical replacement parts-the aftermarket don't work properly.

Wastegate solenoid is AC Delco. Already took that advice to heart from everyone on the boards!

The pigtails have been known to have electrical problems when they get this old-might want to check connections and wiring?
perhaps replace the pigtail with solder and heat shrink if needed?

my 94 F 250 IDI is showing the same symptoms !
mechanic says IP fuel pressure is good filters changed... fuel and clean oil filter...battery 1 on the drivers side was loose and I tightened it but still no pulling power... 294 000 miles and no smoke, starts up every time and drives almost to 80 mph on the flats...got 7 lbs. of boost which is all the Garrett factory ford turbo will put out. Im just as confused.
