Weather forecasts sounded threatening all week and they finally came true during the 10,000-pound 1/8-mile trailer tow competition. The Diesel Power and TEN crew, along with the good folks who work at Bandimere, strapped on leaf blowers; grabbed squeegees and brooms; hopped in their track drying vehicles; and got the track back in running shape in a matter of sweat-soaked minutes. Once the trucks hit the track again, the torque was back on display and there was carnage mixed with some of the fastest times we’ve ever witnessed during the 10,000-pound 1/8-mile Trailer Tow event at Diesel Power Challenge.
