Default New Lift Pump needed - get the higher PSI for a 93 or the one listed for my year -97?

I am doing some preventative work on a used but new to me 97 K2500 Suburban 4WD 6.5L with 220K miles. The previous owner had installed new injectors and a new IP. I have had the truck about 2 months now and am noticing the lifter pump is getting nosier and louder during the priming of start up. I thought now might be a good time to replace it and had read a thread here on this forum that suggested going with one from a 1993 6.5TD Truck for the "...increased fuel pressure" as a way to "help" the Inj Pump?
I found a Delphi Pump#HFP905 for a 1993 that states 10-14 PSI -OR- a Delphi Pump #FD009 for the 97 that states 6-8 PSI.
This is my first post here and I am about 1 1/2 years into diesels but have been a gear head for over 20 years. My question is what pump should I get?

Thank you for any advice or feedback.

~GOD BLESS~

Get the AC Delco/delphi 93 LP if you intend to stay with a stock style LP.

I would also replace the IP fuel return line with clear diesel rated fuel line so you can monitor it for bubbles when the engine idles, bubbles indicate air intrusion between the fuel in the tank and the LP.

A noisy LP could be a symptom of sucking air, could also just be getting wore out?

Thank you for the feedback. I plan on checking for leaks (air) between the tank and the lift pump this weekend and replacing the lift pump when I run the tank down a bit (am on full now). Great idea on replacing the return line with rated clear line for a permanent way to monitor for air bubbles. I appreciate the reply.
