Default 1998 6.5 coolent in oil

I bought the truck for cheap and and the guy said there was coolent in the oil. It wasnt putting any blue or white smoke out as if it were to be burning coolent. But now as the weather temp got colder below 40 it is pushing blue out every where i go and there is definitly coolent in the oil as there is white sludge on the oil filler cap and dip stick. DOes this sound like a head gasket or could it possibly be a intake manifold gasket?? Im not very educated on the 6.5 as i have had ford 7.3s my whole life but found this one for a steal.Does anyone have any advise what i should do? And a guy i know with a 6.5 put a bottle of bars leak pellets in it and its been working fine for him for over 6 months. Should i just stear clear of that stuff and do it the right way or put that in to get me some time till i get more money to do the gasket set? It also has a peninsular block in it so would that elimate the block being cracked possibly??

The intakes on the 6.5/6.2 are dry so you can`t get coolant from it,unless it wicks up a bolt and gets past the gasket-unlikely boost would also tend to force coolant out of the intake.

A cracked head, cracked block or blown head gasket is the most common reason for water in the oil.

From a stone cold start, hold the upper rad hose and note if it gets firm quickly,if so head gasket is most common cause of pressurized coolant when cold.

I am not sure who produces blocks for penninsular so for now I would say any of them can crack.
