Up date.

The arm is feeling a little better i think that it is starting to dissolve. But now that her blood is thin. But now i hope she doesnt bleed out due to the women thing. It seems like there is a bump everytime i call to see if she is doing fine. Then one doctor says stop doing the shots and the one pill to thin out the blood and one says keep taking it. Grrr
But just up-dateing it as i hear.

 

She should be on the shots until her pills get the the therapeutic level. Usually takes 3-5 days. Then she'll probably be on the blood thinners for 3 months.
She will bruise easier. No fun taking these meds but a must to keep it from re-occuring early.

 

Ya she has to have blood test twice a week starting next week. But they didnt say anything about staying on anything but maybe that will be the follow up fisit next week at the doctors. She only has 5 days worth of the shots in the stomach.

 

I had a friend of mine that had to be on the blood thiner to help disolve the clots. He is doing fine now. All my best wishes to you and your wife

Is she taking whole food vitamins / supplements? The kind from a health food store, easier for the body to absorb. Maybe something with iron in it would help her regain her strength, but I'd ask someone first to be sure its okay with the medications she's on. Usually its okay, but better safe than sorry.
The bump will probably take a while to go away. Try not to worry, think positive - it helps our body heal when we're around positive. Keep praying, its working already!

 

Well I just spent last night back in the er. Around 9 pm last night her hand was swelling up. So we called the doctor and he said i dont know but get her to the er just to be safe. So we packed a small bag this time just in-case they wanted to keep her again. We got to the er where she works as a nurse the took her in pretty quick since she was just there a day ago and did another ultrasound and it has not moved but has not gotton any smaller yet. But the thing that pisses me off the most is the test showed it in a diffrent place this time in the arm its in a deeper vein. Great. BUt they keep sending her home i just dont understand if its so dangerious why the heck dont they keep her there. I just don't know what to do i feel so helpless for her and she just keeps righting her self off as dead. And that drives me crazy. I have not slept in days and i am working still. my cold is getting worse ever day.

But i just needed to vent a little here.
